SIZE REALLY DOES MATTER...

One big question most want to know is what size can I project at with the XGIMI H1 and what distance from the screen does it need to be? Also a main factor is how versatile is the zoom option?

How a 300" projected image compares to the size of a 50" TV

Well for starters XGIMI have made it pretty easy to work out. Just add a ZERO to the feet distance. So if the H1 is 4ft from the screen, the image is 4ft + 0 = 40". The recommended largest projection size is 300" so in reverse take a ZERO off and you have 30ft from the screen.

The zoom lens on the H1 is a 1:1 ration meaning you have a +/- 10% adjustment.

30ft from screen is normally 300" image but the zoom can take this to 330" or 270". Obviously the H1 hasn't shipped yet so it will be good to see how this works in practice.
